Avrioclast (neologism): That which destroys the tomorrow; from Greek avrio "Tomorrow" + clast "Destroy"
The news are filled with so many disheartening stories of vile men of power asserting their wretched dominance over the tired, overworked and abused human beings.
The wars keep claiming more and more lives, adults and children alike. The warmongers, prideful as they are, double down on it every day, causing so much suffering in a sadistic desire to carve their names in the bloody annals of history.
Several Billionaires (and now, one Trillionaire) have subjugated the world and treat it as if it were a mere plaything that can be discarded once the luster wears out. And with it, they destroy our future.
People die before they're able to accomplish their dreams. People are prejudiced for what they are. People are paid meager salaries in fleeting jobs that barely cover a month's expenses. People are made to live in polluted, dusty lands filled with smoke and data centers. And yet they're expected to participate in this sickly society, to satisfy the insatiable, to appease the capricious.
Damn those avrioclasts. They destroy people's tomorrows with the same ease and appetite as they eat petit fours. And they relish on it.
