To everyone who toils tirelessly to make ends meet, I lament: how unfortunately easy it is to bring your workplace's worries into your home.

Everyone I've talked to said that I should try my best not to bring about the work's stressful moments into the comfort of your house. And I do agree: my house is a sacred place, a safe haven, a place where I can rest my tired and weary mind and body.

However, I find it's very difficult to cast away the stress the moment I step out of my cubicle into the streets. Even walking home, I can't help but imagine spreadsheets in my head and trying to find solutions, or wondering if I finished everything in my schedule.

Like a detective that is trying to solve a puzzle, the line of thought keeps working (even in the background), even during shower, meals, leisure time. And while this could be seen as a praiseworthy mindset (proactively wanting to solve problems as quickly and efficiently as possible), it does make it harder to rest easy.

I don't know if everyone is like this, but if you, reader, sympathize with me, then know that I sympathize with you, too. I wish you the best in your life, and may your moments of repose be replenishing and plentiful.
